Giuseppe Barilaro

Giuseppe Barilaro (Catanzaro, 1988) is a visual artist who traverses the memory of painting through contemporary tools, developing an expressive vocabulary made of material, color, and emotional tension. He graduated in Decoration and Sacred Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Catanzaro and began his exhibition career in 2012 with a solo show at the Palazzo Ducale in Cosenza, followed by an international exhibition in Xi’an, China. In 2013, he received the National Arts Award as the best student in Painting, an honor conferred by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).

He has exhibited in galleries and institutions across Rome, Milan, Miami, and Pietrasanta, consolidating his presence in the contemporary art scene.
