29th May – 31st July

La Fonderia Art Gallery is pleased to announce the group exhibition Represented by, a curatorial project that brings together the pictorial explorations of the artists currently represented by the gallery.
Represented by is more than just a title: it is a statement of intent. The exhibition was born from the desire to make visible the gallery’s daily work in promoting and enhancing the artists’ practices, with a constant focus on the quality, coherence, and depth of their individual research. Painting, understood as a continuously evolving language, is the medium through which each artist establishes a personal visual grammar, generating trajectories that often intersect, contradict, or reinforce one another.
In this context, the gallery takes on the role of an active platform, a place of dialogue that goes beyond simply “exhibiting” to build relationships, create connections, and accompany artistic journeys over time. The exhibition also becomes a moment of reflection on the role of representation in the contemporary art system: what does it mean, today, to be represented? And what does it entail, for a gallery, to take care of an artist’s work?
The artists featured in the exhibition are Giuseppe Barilaro, Filippo Cigni, Claudio Cionini, Federico Ferrarini, Marco Ferri, Roberto Ghezzi, Leopoldo Innocenti, Monograff and Leonardo Moretti. Together, they offer a heterogeneous yet deeply coherent panorama in its variety. Through figurative, abstract, gestural, or conceptual approaches, each of them contributes to the construction of a broad pictorial discourse that the gallery is proud to support.
Represented by invites the public to enter into this dialogue, exploring not only the artworks but also the relationships that make them possible.
